This part was repairable for a 2002 Kia Optima LX 2.7L V6 with OBD2 code P0335 (starter cranks but engine doesn't crank). It seems to have better wire insulation than the part I replaced - I've read that this is a common problem on this engine due to the proximity of this sensor to the exhaust manifold - I expect it will hold up better over time . The fit and function were perfect with no problems, the installation wasn't too bad (the car was on jack stands at the front, the starter had to be removed briefly) and the car jumped and ran as before the DTC. I have had good experience using Standard Motor Products replacement parts, particularly distributor caps and rotors, on my older vehicles. Fast shipping via Revain and a good replacement part from SMP got me up and running and saved me from extra weekend travel.
