I would rate it lower if I could. I have a size 7 and a size 2.5, both sets have rough ends that will scratch the needles when knitting, resulting in an unusable rough surface that will grab and snap the yarn. The reason I like Nova Platina needles is because of the nice smooth finish, the broken tips make them a waste of money. I have a complete set, I bought a set, everything is fine. I've had no luck with individual needles (and cables), although I've always had to send them back, sometimes more than once, to get good material. Get them in your LYS instead of ordering them so you can return them if you have any problems. Didn't get a chance to use them within the 30 day return period and now I'm stuck with them, thanks Revain. Additionally, Knitter's Pride does not guarantee items sold through Revain, although Revain lists them as "Sold by Knitter's Pride".
