I got shot in the left knee while deer hunting with some good old boys in 1984. i was told that i would have trouble with the knee later in life and, turns out that's correct. my knee gradually became more swollen, painful and unstable. tried a few things including shots. bought this one because of the claim of being copper infused. i wear it a few days a week or when i know i have a heavy day ahead. if i overdo it i can spend a few days in this brace and it will stabilize my knee as well as relieve the pain and swelling. i also bought one of the thin nylon compression sleeves but it doesn't work nearly as well and also doesn't stay in place like this one. I recommend this product.
