Bought wire made a huge installation in a friends van. The van is always in the garage, never seen rain or snow. Battery. Both exchanged, the next day they blew up the generator and battery. Tore it up, came and found the wire (on the bottom side) had literally turned to powder. $1,500 in pipes. so. Just a crappy wire. LESSON LEARNED By the way, there were three wires that went bad.
