I've been looking at Gripper blocks and while they are very good and have great reviews I felt like there were other options. This set was perfect, the price was great and the product was highly praised by the reviews. The reality is that anything that keeps my fingers in the path of the saw blade is worth it. In this case, if I chew through any of these parts, I won't flinch like I did with the $80-$100 Gripper. This set covers all the scenarios I'll encounter, so the versatility is there! I also admit that seeing photos of a reviewer cutting their finger and hitting their own eye was a motivator. I bought this set the same day!
