I tried several similar meat beating tools in the kitchen but none of them worked for me. Then I found this AMAZING kitchen mallet. It's well balanced, the right weight and well made! This is the second hammer I've bought but my first purchase from Cave Tools. The first one I bought cost me over $30 and was called "London Kitchen". The one I bought from Cave Tools is identical in every way but only costs $15.99. At this price I was sure the hammer would be different from the London Kitchen version so I only bought one from Cave Tools but when I received the Cave Tools hammer I saw it was the same. Great tool, great price! I bought two more today to give to my cooking school teachers (I'm in cooking school) who loved mine when I showed them to them. And today (May 10, 2017) I bought two more to give as gifts to two colleagues who admired mine. I LOVE these things!
