Purchased June 2018 Used for salmon fishing from the bank. With iPhone 8+. Constantly having connection problems. We have been working with their support team for the last year. They are aware of this and have released a new app this year which we hope will solve our problems. It works intermittently, which is great when it happens. But after 5 minutes it stops working and even though it's connected there's a black screen - it doesn't move from right to left like it should. We tried everything they suggested including turning off wifi in the phone settings, updating the app, deleting the app and restarting, restarting the phone, buying a pole mount phone so the phone is always at the right angle when you are upside down. You get a point. Now they won't exchange it even though it's covered by a 2 year warranty because we bought it through a third party which I can't tell if it's the actual seller anymore because I called the number and it sounds like someone is home. Deeper says they are still working on the app. Correctly. Not reliable at all for the money. Disappointing because my husband loved it for the 5 minutes it has worked for the past 2 years. Don't buy until the bugs are fixed. Note. Revain's online customer support didn't help either. I asked them to review the third party and instead they penalized me for wanting to return this outside of their 30 day policy window. *One note to add that Deeper eventually took it back. They checked it out and it's already on its way back to us, so their customer service has been impressive. However, I would buy direct from them to avoid the hassle of a third party.
