Review on NeoSport Wetsuits Premium Neoprene Full Suit by Melvin Belton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

1year and 250 hours logged snorkeling in this suit so far

Good price, good product, exactly as advertised. I am 6'2", 250 lbs, 34" inseam and 34" waist, and am sporting the xl (it is snug in the chest but not bad). I snorkel in 34 to 45 degree water down to 45 feet deep in the gulf of Alaska, and I am usually in the water for between 3 and 5 hours at a time. For me this is the lightest I can use without experiencing hypothermia, still have mobility, and it is exactly what I wanted at a price I could handle. This is not an arctic suit nor a pro scuba suit, don't expect a $700 quality or durability. Entry level or, in my case, protection from rocks and cold, that you won't loose sleep over ruining.

Pros
  • This is a great suit. Water is able to get in around the zipper but that is the only complaint
Cons
  • The wetsuit is too tight and restricts movement
