Review on 💦 Efficient Drain for Electronic Compressors: Milton 1139-1 - Product Review and Buying Guide by Darrin Parasson

I just received my drain yesterday and was going to install it today but after reading the instructions there are more parts needed before you can install it. What is not included in the description is that you need to install a "Y strainer or combination valve with ball valve and filter" on the inlet side to prevent dirt from damaging the drainage system. After an hour of searching the web, Y-shaped filters range from $12 to $60 and aren't always available. If I had known that beforehand, I could have ordered a Y filter and be done with it. Now I think I'll just return this auto drain and buy the one that comes with the filter.
