I was trying to fit this to my 50 inch Vizio E TV. I cannot tighten the bracket. I put my DVD player on it and it seems to balance securely. The shelf has holes so you can now worry about heat dissipation. The rubbery fabric stays securely in place. Glad the DVD player is detached from the TV stand and it's nice not to have too many cables hang down.The construction is solid. I live alone so I don't have to worry about kids running in, but I would worry about not being able to tighten the handle if I did. I don't know if it's my TV, me or the shelf. If the arm tightened easily or if there were further instructions that would allow me to fix the problem I would give it 5 stars.
