This spirit level appears to be well made, accurate and reliable. I originally used it to move a towel rail in one of my bathrooms, which a guest misused as a handrail and pulled out of the wall. The old one was carelessly or hastily installed anyway and was anything but smooth as a result. Using this tool, I marked the location of the screw holes 24 inches apart and adjusted the stand perfectly level. I then used it to install a series of handles on kitchen cabinet drawers. Although I measured down from the edge of the drawer ends (2 per drawer) using a plastic template, I double checked the holes with a level and adjusted them slightly to account for the fact that the drawer itself wasn't perfectly horizontal. Thus, to the naked eye, the bars looked perfectly aligned. The 3 foot length was perfect for both of those jobs, and that size wasn't available at retail. I'm a lucky tourist!
