Review on Women'S Sequin Art Deco 1920S Flapper Dress With Sleeves by Amanda Davis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Really Short good for me

I bought this for a 1920's game night. The dress itself it beautiful and the beading seem like it was sewn on well. The fringe had a few stragglers and needed to be trimmed but that's no problem. The 4 stars is for the beauty of the dress and how well the beads were attached. The fit is another matter. I ordered a large as I'm a size 12-14 in most clothing. It fit but it just wasn't flattering. It fit weird at the shoulders I can't really describe it. It didn't flow smoothly over the hips, it kind of bunched up. There was plenty of room in the dress not too tight or loose. The reason I sent it back is because the fringe was knee length but the actual dress part only reached the mid-ish top of my thighs. Lol Forget sitting down. I'm 5'7 if that helps. The price is great and the dress doesn't look too cheap or tacky. I'm not sure if I misunderstood the length or misread the listing but it's beautiful and if you're comfortable with that length then I'd say buy it, it's comfortable but so short.

Pros
  • Good quality for price. Maybe I could wear it on a special occasion instead of only as a costume.
Cons
  • Poor fit
