Review on πŸ”” Le Creuset Enamel-on-Steel Whistling Cobalt Teakettle - 1-4/5 Quart, Stunning Design and Superior Functionality by Lori Taylor

Not like before

I have to frame this review by saying I have always loved Le Creuset. In the past when they were all made in France (rather than in China like today) they were of the highest quality money could buy. Comparing my old Le Creuset to my new creations is almost ridiculous. And this kettle is no exception. Like other reviewers, I encountered HEAVY rust in the teapot. In fact, the entire bottom of the cauldron was covered with rust. I'm a tea lover and I easily use the kettle ten times a day. I maintain it according to Le Creuset's instructions and can't figure out why it's rusting. Worst of all, Le Creuset's customer service is virtually non-existent. It's also worth noting that the normal exposure to heat from the stove will cause the color of your enamel to crack, change and deteriorate.
