Review on Focusrite Clarett 4 Out Audio Interface by Tony Moody

This interface was a nice improvement over my 1st generation Scarlett 2i2. Once I had everything set up the difference became apparent and everything coming through my monitors sounded much clearer. Some of my 2i2 projects quickly became flawed and Mic Pres with or without AIR capability was an improvement. The price was high, but I was completely satisfied. And then, a few weeks later, I started having blackouts. I would try to play a YouTube video or play a song in my media player and NOTHING. Then I noticed that the CPU was having trouble handling the device and my fan started spinning. To be honest, these issues could be related to the software (Windows 10) or even my PC hardware. Not sure but they all went away when I reconnected my old interface. Long story short, I sent it back because I couldn't get it to work properly when it started going haywire, but I can attest to its excellent sound. If it works with your computer, it's a beast!
