Cool light, but takes some getting used to
I like the look of them, but they take some getting used to because the light is directed downwards. While great for task-oriented lighting, the kitchen appears darker as it used to be, in contrast to the glass lampshade over the island. We'll be leaving them for a while, but I think we'll be replacing them in the next few years. The price was good if you want to experiment with something different! We paid a handyman to install it as we didn't feel comfortable cutting the wire to the right height.
