Good for a quick fix for the cheap
We moved into a house that had absolutely nothing on the windows and this was our last resort. This will reduce the light that gets through if you've sized them to extend past the actual window on the sides. It blocked the lights from the cars shining into the room as they turned onto the street and this allowed us to get some sleep. the time you need to put double sided tape on them before hanging them up, otherwise they only last two months with daily use. I raise the blinds every morning and close them every evening.
