Good for a quick fix for the cheap

We moved into a house that had absolutely nothing on the windows and this was our last resort. This will reduce the light that gets through if you've sized them to extend past the actual window on the sides. It blocked the lights from the cars shining into the room as they turned onto the street and this allowed us to get some sleep. the time you need to put double sided tape on them before hanging them up, otherwise they only last two months with daily use. I raise the blinds every morning and

Darkness in the Bat Cave!: Home Decor

Update: 5 stars - Clips shipped quickly from seller. Original review: The gray definitely keeps the sun out and even goes great with my room decor. 4 stars because I didn't get any clips or instructions (good old common sense). After reading many reviews mentioning the bad tape strip, I decided to use command strips to line the upper. A great idea. I bought these blinds to use with my blackout curtains which allowed the sun to penetrate through the top and sides of the curtains as there was…

Fell out of a window in less than a month.

I bought the black shades first and they match perfectly. So I bought 2 boxes of these grays. They all fell out of the windows in less than a month. I was seriously disappointed. Also, they let in a lot more light than I expected. Blacks were great at blocking out the light. However, this is not the case. They are more for privacy. If you buy these just make sure you have some extra double sided tape and that the top of your window is clean (I used rubbing alcohol). On the other hand, when…

Definitely NOT Redi Shade 👎🏻

I usually give Revain very good reviews and I'm rarely disappointed with my purchase, but I'm really disappointed with this product. Definitely not Redy Shade. It's a generic brand (no label, absolutely nothing). I ordered a brand new one but there was no box of Redi Shade, just large accordion folded sheets of paper claiming to be Redi Shade here at Revain (at least I thought I bought it as this item at Revain is really Redi Shade says ) in a generic box. There are no clips for the floor, like

Great for new home buyers!

These curtains are great for moving into a new home before deciding to decorate the window. They stick very well to the top of the window glass but not so well to the wood frame. We order plantation blinds and they take time. These heavy paper lampshades hold up well and have withstood two busy little boys aged six and eight. They come with clips to keep them in place when you want your home to be sunny. It seems like getting up and folding back the curtains would be difficult, but they…

Not 72 inches, otherwise they would be the same height as me.

I have been buying Redi Shades for 20 years now. I used clear tape for shipping the first time. This fixes that issue. The problem I have after 20 years of buying and hanging is the advertised height versus the actual height of the multipack I bought this time. I'm 6'1" and the Redi Shades I've bought in the past were also 6'1" straight out of the box with the creases intact. However, they COULD be 64 inches long. It's just over five feet. So I don't believe the argument that "72 inches would…

Amazing quality for the price!

This is amazing! We have a solarium that can be used as a guest room. We don't need permanent blinds in the room. We also have a lot of windows (9 windows and a sliding glass door) so window treatments get very expensive! One of my neighbors had these paper blinds and I was intrigued. I've bought a few and I'm convinced this is the best there is! I measured the windows then marked and cut the pleated blinds with a razor blade. The glue is very sticky but I had to take one off and put it back on
