I believe the gaskets included in my kit are a cheap counterfeit of the original gasket design. I am referring to the power piston seal (which often leaks). My current repair is an 04 Silverado 2500hd, the replacement gasket was leaking worse than the 17 year old gasket that was removed prior to the replacement. On closer inspection, a quality seal that is designed to actually seal the power steering fluid in the servo piston cylinder and chamber will have a stretch compression spring to compress the seal around the servo piston and prevent fluid from bypassing the edges of the seal. Both seals included in the kit, the small and the large, do not have an internal spring, as evidenced by the fact that you can "roll" the seals with your finger and feel the lack of a firm internal spring feel. With all the hassle and suffering, this task is finding a better print because you don't want to do the job twice or without having to pay hundreds for a rebuilt unit because of a $12 print. Look for a brake and clutch repair shop that can point you in the right direction to finding good parts. Just my humble opinion. Much luck!
