A Brilliant Approach to Surge Protectors

I was about to buy a standard surge protector when I stumbled upon this gem. After looking at the reviews and product description, I immediately bought three and am still considering buying more! Here's what I like about it: 1) two USB plugs - that's huge. I now have easy access to charge my iPhone and Kindles without using an AC adapter plug. 2) Because it plugs directly into an outlet, you don't have a huge power strip on the floor with cords all over the place. You immediately insert the plug three times into a normal socket and take up almost no space. I suppose the only thing that bothers me about it (and it's a small one) is the "vampire power" that comes out every time it's plugged in. I don't know exactly how much it's using, but the little green light that's on tells me it's using at least some power. I'm curious if anyone else counted that. As I write this review, I also make a few suggestions for a future option: why not pair the same device with a Belkin Powerline AV500 network adapter? And while you're at it, add Belkin's WeMo home automation switcher capabilities to your Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch! If you could do all three things (USB surge protector, powerline adapter, and WeMo switch) from one outlet, you'd have a product I'd pay a hefty sum of money for! But until then, great job with this one!
