Hooked it up today so time will tell how long it lasts. But great function so far. Stupid, easy to set up, very intuitive, lots of room around the two side entrances, one in the back too narrow for a fire stick. However, the Firestick (2019 with Voice Remote) fits snugly to the side. No connection problems. I hooked this up to a Direct TV satellite receiver, a DVR, and a Firestick. The only small problem is that it takes about 3-4 seconds to load the input after each switch. Nothing major, just not as fast as toggling the TV input. But the TV only has 1 HDMI port and 3 RCA connectors (three color connectors).
