No wired doorbell, here's the trick

I wanted a Google Nest doorbell but had 2 things against me. I didn't have a wired doorbell and didn't want to use it on my front door. Rather, I wanted it to be on the outside of my 6ft privacy gate. Buying this plug helped. I had a connector close enough to this gate for this to work. I am very happy. Now I know when my children come and go and when I receive packages.
