Before hanging these curtains, I washed, dried and ironed them using a wet press cloth and a steam iron set on the second to hottest setting. The wrinkles created from folding the curtains and placing them into the package came out without any blood, sweat or tears. The fabric looks and feels beautiful, and the blackout is about 90%. I like the street view of all my window treatments to be white, so I wish that either the outside of the fabric was white or that this curtain was available in white so that I could purchase a white curtain to hang behind the teal. I did purchase white curtains in another brand for that purpose, and I could not get the wrinkles out of that fabric. The contrast in quality between the brands made me realize how very beautiful the Anjee fabric is.
