I was happy to find these LED lamps to replace fluorescent lamps in workshop, garage and shop lighting. Until recently, if you wanted to replace fluorescent tubes with LEDs, you had to do some wiring (something with a ballast?). I've never had the patience or confidence in my electrical skills to try these types of LED bulbs in a fluorescent bulb. However, it is truly plug and play. All you have to do is install them and they give us a lot of light. After buying the first 2 I liked them so much that I bought a few more to install another basement fixture. And now, theoretically, I won't have to worry about replacing those lightbulbs for *years*. I'm only for it!
