This is the second towel hook I have ordered and the first one had the same defect. I ordered a second one hoping it would be the right one because I couldn't return the first one within 30 days. The locking screw is screwed into the side, not the bottom of the back panel. When the back plate is properly secured to the wall with the set screw at the bottom, the towel hook will point to the side instead of up. I ordered a pair of towel rails and it looks like they used the towel rail back plates for both towel hooks. Although the hook can be removed from the backplate, it cannot be rotated 90 degrees and reinstalled. Apart from the defect, the stainless steel has a thick thickness and the overall structure is solid. I will return this one and try again
