I think these filters have been around for about a year now. You are amazing at your job. I now go with 4. 2 before the point and 2 after the pump when using 4 inch couplers. This creates more surface area, meaning the water flow doesn't suffer much when it starts to clog. I also use 2 check valves around the filters so I don't have to drain a lot of liquid when cleaning the filters. .I had 1 broken glass tube but it was probably my fault for not lubricating the o-ring with water before reassembling after cleaning. The hose was only slightly punctured at one end, but that was enough to cause a very small leak. I bought a glass cutter and some spare glass tubes. While I'm waiting, my lube works with 3 filters. 2 before pump, 1 after pump (pump = pump/reservoir combination, for this review)
