Blow Away!: Interior Care

I've seen so many conflicting reviews of the Metrovak online - and after months of deciding whether to buy it or not ,I finally got it I used it a few hours after it got to my house!Assembly was very easy. All you have to do is attach a hose to the vacuum end and tighten.I read that this section addresses itself loosens for some people during use - so I recommend making sure the clamp is actually pulling the hose to the machine's connector. The dryer was reasonably safe in a paper-filled box and came with a few accessories that I will most likely never use .The build quality isn't quite what I expected. It's built very well but I imagined it would be very heavy and upon knocking in made a hard noise. Its construction feels as dense as soda when shaken. Now for the important part. Money? Personally I would buy this again instead of a blower. It's easy to maneuver around the car and the heated air really helps dry the car faster. Before that I had a cheap Chinese brand fan and obviously there is a day and night in between. You can get away with not touching a car without a towel if you use it strategically. Personally, I wash my car at dusk or early evening so the sun doesn't stain the water. This allowed me to dry the car top to bottom (dry to the touch) in about 10-12 minutes. It probably could have been quicker, but I didn't want to touch the car with a towel. The noise isn't too obnoxious, so if you're worried about irritating your neighbors, it's tolerable. I was able to wash and dry two cars in the same amount of time it takes me to wash and dry one car! I recommend to all car lovers or those who don't have time to deep clean their car!

Pros
  • 1-1/4" Adapter
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...
