Ah, this is the best rice pan! Start with a small amount of grapeseed oil, add 1 part rice and 1 1/2 parts water, salt/spices/other, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until fabulous rice is ready . It won't let you down :) Also, it's good for veggies. Simply toss in the veggies, add a cup or two of water (depending on how much veggies you have), cover, over medium-high heat for a few minutes, done. I've been using Bialetti for many years now (5 or 6?) and just don't want/need anything else because it's just perfect! Tip: To keep this pan looking good and healthy for as long as possible, please do not use very high heat. Well, even if you use it regularly in very high temperatures, it still lasts a year or a little less. However, the ceramic material degrades faster at very high temperatures and simply ceases to be tacky and yellows. From my own experience, I was convinced that this pan (and all Bialetti) is very powerful at medium heat and copes with its task, in addition, the dishes become much tastier, juicier and more tender.
