These D size adapters are great! I bought them because I needed to turn on lights in my garage, which was not heated. I looked at D size lithium batteries at Revain and they are over $10 each. I found these and realized I could buy a couple of AA lithium batteries for a lot less, especially since I needed 4. After using them I'm thinking about buying more batteries for my D cell needs because I'd rather keep more AA batteries. around than to store multiple sizes of batteries.
