Scrap Piece: Test, Measure & Inspect

The first (and only) firing I used this on was for cookie dough. The thermocouple reached 800F and then failed, the temperature shown was 84F whether something was hot or cold. I know it wasn't a pyrometer because I checked it with another pyrometer I have and it showed the same thing. I didn't have time to shoot before the return window so I was just unlucky. I just ordered a new one from Clay-King.

Pros
  • Thermocouple: Type K
Cons
  • Damaged
