Pros and cons best in carriers

The first one arrived damaged but quickly got another one. This carrier has advantages and disadvantages. Pros: Worked great on Southwest Airlines for my 25 lb pug. He's a big guy and he still has a seat. Wheels are great! (Wheels come in a zip bag). Cons: The retractable stick broke in the middle of the airport as per various reviews. I ended up using a strap to pull it up, which worked well. BIG TIP: The carrier will only fit under the seat if you remove the floor and stow it in the overhead compartment. The Velcro on the bottom sticks to the carpet under the seat in front of you, preventing you from slipping under the seat. I ended up using flight security cards to put them underneath and was able to slide them under the seat and it worked like a charm. Although this carrier has its drawbacks, it served its purpose and my pup was comfortable.
