Review on πŸ¦’ Giraffe Industrial Flexible Air Hose Compressor: Efficient & Versatile by Sammie Rodriguez

May damage the environment!

I bought this tubing because the PSI max and burst strength are or so good, it has strain relief/buckling boots and the tubing material is soft rather than rigid like polyethylene. When it arrived my wife and I were both thrilled to see how good it felt in your hands. Good heavy brass fittings and a soft rubber body. She willingly helped me get Teflon tape and a wrench so we could install it as a lead hose for our onboard air to control some of the accessory bags we had just installed on the 3/7. Installation was easy and we turned on the compressor to pressurize the tank and new line. When the pressure gauge on the tank reached about 90psi, the hose came loose. The compression fitting on the end of the hose came loose and the burr was sticking out where the hose used to be. The wild end of the hose, still with the outer brass collar, dangled as the pressure equalized. The weighted brass end shattered, leaving dents or scratches on almost anything it came in contact with. We were both lucky that neither of us got close enough to the hose when it came loose. Someone could get seriously hurt if we didn't back down for safety reasons while testing something new that would be under pressure. Remember to always wear personal protective equipment when doing anything that could cause injury. Overall I would say I would not recommend this product to anyone as my personal experience has left me anxious, angry and sad.
