Bought this cable for my 2012 Trek Crossrip bike. Very bad or I don't need the product so I decided to just file the cable end cap so I can get into the switch housing. I was able to do this with one cable but the second wore out of the box. Luckily I didn't need it so I just messed up the cable. I was able to easily install a cable and the settings worked. I don't think I would have bought this project because the end of the cable was too big for my gall, which isn't necessarily a project issue. However, note that the cable will not fit a 2013 Cross Rip Cyclo Cross bike.
