So let me put a disclaimer that I bought this for the price. That alone should tell you what quality to expect. I gave it 4 stars but compared to a quality (and expensive) scope it's probably 2 or 3 stars. The phone mount allowed me to see the target in "camera" mode and I didn't have to lose position on the rifle. I gave it 4 stars because the mount is crap and the way it stays on the scope is so-so (attached to the zoom and rotates when zoomed in). The stand sucks too, but it works and you get what you pay for. One thing to note about the quantity is that the rubber parts slip off easily, which means that when pressure is applied they are pushed off the mount by the tension in the rubber. This has happened to me off and on, but if you work properly, it stays in place. Another thing is that the position of the camera, eyepiece and mount may have caused you to press the volume buttons, which in case you don't know is also the camera button in camera mode. I took some unnecessary photos trying to connect my phone to it. So far the best device is iPod and itouch. Unfortunately my iPod doesn't hold a charge very long so I have to plug it into a charger and even then it restarts from time to time. thanks apple But in terms of real scale, the glass is decent and definitely good for bird watching or even target spotting. For the price, it's definitely a worthwhile purchase if you're not sure if you really need something like this. I'd recommend it, but be warned that you'll probably want to replace it with something better at some point.
