Good for $$ for sports and fitness

I'm a hobbyist and for that purpose this scope is very good. I took it to the local park a few times and learned to use it with pleasure. The phone mount is a bit awkward but comfortable. Focusing at a large zoom may or may not seem successful. I suspect it's a combination of my old eyes and the phone's camera trying to focus on the image of the object in the eyepiece. More time is needed to clarify this. Could probably have spent a lot more $ but for me it was unnecessary. Apologies for the…

Poor image quality

When I bought this scope, I chose a very high magnification and a very low price, hoping to get a good deal. Unfortunately, the image quality did not meet my expectations. It should primarily be used for long-range target shooting, but despite the high magnification, the image quality is too low for such a purpose. My low budget scope, which gave me much lower magnification, was obviously much better than this scope at some range. At around 100 yards, where this scope should show an advantage…

Cheaply built and you can see that.

Bought as a spotting scope for hunting and use on a sailboat to observe objects from a distance. The optical quality of the sight is not bad, the picture is clearer. The rest of the scope was poorly made however, the knob that tightened the scope so it wouldn't bounce never worked, you couldn't stop the scope from falling off when you unscrewed it. I was also disappointed that when mine arrived they asked Miss to put an eyepiece cap on it and he bent the rubber eyecup so that it flipped over…

Good Price - Hunting and Fishing

Not a bad price. Contrary to what I've read in other reviews, the tripod is actually not bad (again for the price). The tripod is metal and very stable when I put it on a stable table. Even at 75x magnification, the tripod is quite stable. The optics are mediocre at best and can't compare to a good $1,000 scope. The focus knob has quite a bit of play, but it works quite well. It seems to me that there is a significant loss of light through the optics, but in daylight it's still bright enough to

Fantastic for the price

As a budget spotting scope it's actually very good. It doesn't have a reticle, milling points, or the depth of field of some of the more expensive spotting scopes, but it does the job very well. I also used it as a telescope and got clear, albeit very small, views of Saturn and Jupiter. The phone holder is a bit bulky. I've managed to get it working remotely, but I'm struggling to get clear photos and videos, especially when using it as an astronomical telescope. I've found that using the…

Decent price

So let me put a disclaimer that I bought this for the price. That alone should tell you what quality to expect. I gave it 4 stars but compared to a quality (and expensive) scope it's probably 2 or 3 stars. The phone mount allowed me to see the target in "camera" mode and I didn't have to lose position on the rifle. I gave it 4 stars because the mount is crap and the way it stays on the scope is so-so (attached to the zoom and rotates when zoomed in). The stand sucks too, but it works and you…

Great for my purpose!

I'm not an expert on telescopes or photography, but I found this telescope amazing. I waited for the weekend to try it out in daylight and even on a cloudy day the clarity and sharpness of the image was superb. I bought it to use primarily for target shooting at 100-200 yards. I am convinced that with it I can see perfectly where the shot hits without having to wait or go to the target. Perhaps the technical feature it lacks compared to other more expensive scopes is eye relief. If I keep my…
