I'm a hobbyist and for that purpose this scope is very good. I took it to the local park a few times and learned to use it with pleasure. The phone mount is a bit awkward but comfortable. Focusing at a large zoom may or may not seem successful. I suspect it's a combination of my old eyes and the phone's camera trying to focus on the image of the object in the eyepiece. More time is needed to clarify this. Could probably have spent a lot more $ but for me it was unnecessary. Apologies for the focus on some of my images as this is my first time using a scope and phone mount.
