Attached to the outer panel of our doors and what a difference! Not only is the cabin quieter, but I hear a noticeable improvement in stereo sound, especially bass. This material is thicker than a standard muffler and costs a little more, but I think it's worth it. Closing the longer doors on our two-door now sounds like closing a refrigerator door. It takes a while to measure and cut properly, but it's really easy to set up and then roll into place. A little heat with a hair dryer or heat gun makes it easy to shape. Try to get it exactly where you want it the first time, as it's quite sticky and difficult to pull back out (although it can be done). It easily fits into curves and various bars and panels in the door. If you don't measure accurately, it sticks to itself with no problem. There was almost no odor, and even with extreme heat I don't see the glue softening enough to peel off on its own. I recommend!
