This is the best carrier I have found so far to take my old/sick dog on camping trips but still not perfect. I really have a lot of it and my dog seems very comfortable in it, but I would like it to be symmetrical and have two shoulder straps, more like a backpack. A strap is bad for my back/neck as the weight is pulled to one side. I'm trying to switch sides to help with this, but it's not ideal. I would also like to shorten the harness more because my dog hangs too low, it would be easier to hold it higher on my chest than swinging on my stomach. The strap is adjustable but I'm tall and slim and even in the shortest position it's still too long. The strap is wide and soft so it fits comfortably around my neck. I'm still looking for the best option (although most backpack options have dog legs sticking out making them uncomfortable) but in the meantime I'll definitely keep using these. My dog loves it and seems to enjoy hanging out there and enjoying the view while I do all the work.
