Review on 🚗 ZEAK 3500 lb. Advanced 12V DC Electric Winch, Waterproof Off Road, Synthetic Rope, Mount, for Sports Cars, ATV by Mark Hamblin

I wanted to return this winch because the holes from the positive cable to the motor were too small and I really didn't want to change anything in case I had to return it but I have adjusted it to to fit. If your bike has never had a winch like mine, make sure you buy a Polaris winch mount. It cost me about $40 which is not that much. Mount the winch with the Polaris mounting bracket first so you don't have to worry about trying it from the ground. First I applied the shrink wrap for the circuit breaker, attached the positive end of the connector wire from the control box and heated the shrink wrap. I then attached the head to the Zeak mounting bracket. I detached part of the cable from the winch and attached it to the Polaris mount. Only 2 holes match. I could have drilled a few more holes but in my opinion it was necessary. Please judge for yourself whether it is worth drilling additional holes for mounting on the bracket. I was able to slide the entire block onto my handlebars and bolt it on with minimal effort. I had the connector wires facing outward on the motor, but instead I chose to turn them inward so the connector end wouldn't get caught. The control box was a bit tricky to tie to the frame as the connecting wires to the motor are just a little short, but I managed to tie them far enough. The rest of the wires connecting to the battery were very long, so I folded them up, tied them with zip ties, and tied them to the frame as well. I opened the front storage drawer and removed the center piece which is held in place with 4 torx screws. I routed the control cable through and tied it up as well. If I can I will post photos of the winch fully assembled on my bike. I had no way to use the remote control. Once I installed the winch, all I wanted to do was ride for a long time.
