Just bought and it's amazing! Stainless steel and dishwasher safe. Bought for my mom who is getting older and doesn't have the same wrist strength anymore. She always used a big regular spoon and it doesn't fit her anymore. When it first slid into a new gallon of ice cream, it melted the surrounding ice cream into liquid. We looked at each other like it was magic. I think it has something to do with the surface of the blade. A week later we tried it on hard ice and it did better than any other spoon I've had. The length gives you more leverage so it's lighter on the wrist. It was perfect for my mom. I was so impressed with this product that I intend to buy one for each member of my family. Seeing my mom not struggling with ice cream at her age made this thing worth every penny and more. The design, the materials and the functionality are excellent. Highly recommended.
