Great tool! I've been bending kitchen spoons while scooping ice cream for over 30 years. woman had enough. It was a very inexpensive shovel that does exactly what it's supposed to. The handle is filled with something that absorbs the natural heat of your hand and transfers it to the spoon for easier scooping of ice cream (warm water works too). Excellent price and quality!

The leading edge on this one was very sharp and cut my thumb. I am not returning the item as it replaced my 15 year old. My old one broke because the handle wasn't as strong as this one. This tool is built to last. The blade is forged from heavy duty 14 gauge (.0747") stainless steel. The durable plastic handle from what I received was immaculate.
