If you need a leak proof water bottle then this is a really good option. It holds 650ml / 24oz. and didn't actually leak, even while driving, hiking/climbing, or thrown into a computer backpack. We have received three different colors and over the past 4-5 weeks of constant use there has not yet been any sign of mold or any unusual discoloration under the cap. Of the three, one appears to be an older (or possibly newer) model, with the logo elsewhere and some other minor variations, but all three appear to be fairly consistent in terms of usage and performance. Closing with one hand is definitely tricky, but we've found that opening the plastic buckle even with one hand helps if you close and hold it while lifting the metal buckle with your other finger. Sharpie's permanent marker marks the bottle and cap fairly well, but wears out after a week or two.
