I love this mug because the ceramic lid keeps my tea hot for a very long time, and helps the tea flavor to steep quickly. I was impressed that the lid, infuser insert, and mug all fit together so well that there is no gaps for the steam to escape. The infuser basket is stainless steel, easy to rinse out, and can be used for loose tea or to quickly take the tea bag out of the mug. A trick I use is I take the lid off, lift the basket, and set the basket in the lid, which keeps any liquid from running off.
