I'm NOT a skater, I just wanted something to get to and from school faster than walking without having to lug around a giant longboard. This cruiser fits perfectly in my gym lockers and feels sturdy. I had to pull up a lot of trucks before I could actually drive it because it was very shaky, but I think that's pretty typical for something like this. I have a very leggy, clumsy body type with poor coordination and yes I've fallen A LOT from it but now that I've had it for a few months I'm doing a lot better. BEWARE of rocks and large cracks/ledges in the pavement/road, this is a cruiser but still a smaller board and you can easily get caught on large objects if you are not speeding or careful
