I bought this board to learn to skate and I had no idea how far it would take me. The wheels can handle most cracks/bumps in the road. It's very quick once you know how to use it. It's so much fun to carve with. And the disappearance of the sunset makes it a 10/10. I can't get enough of my board. True, it squeaks a lot a month after I filled the trucks with petroleum jelly.

The description says the wheels have ABEC 9 high-speed bearings, but the wheels hardly turn. One of the four in particular is very stiff and stops immediately after turning. Contacted the company directly twice but got no response. You may need to buy bearing grease or add WD-40 as others have suggested, but I expected the skateboard to be ready to go.

I got this for my 13 year old for Christmas. Although I'll start by saying that before this gift he only had a cheap board from a sporting goods store, he really likes it. He is an aspiring figure skater. Big wheels make it easy to move around the sidewalks in our area (not to mention the pebbles). It has a lot more control over the turn, good quality bogies as does the whole board. We didn't set anything up before he started using it. If he ever needs another board, we'll buy a flybar!

I like this board so far. It seems like a good choice for urban sidewalk and campus driving. I had to untie the carts and wheels before I could inspect the board. I would suggest buying new bearings along with some speed lube cream. Bearings are no good when assembling a complete skateboard. Deca was not the one I ordered. The bearings suck and the wheels don't spin as freely as they should when brand new, but a little WD-40 should help. The trucks show manufacturing defects on moldings that are not structurally significant but indicate craftsmanship. The board is for my kids to play with and that will do. This is one of the best, if not the best, smaller skateboard. I wanted something like a penny board, but I didn't want the feel of cheap plastic.
