2.5 rounded I downgraded this review for a number of reasons. When I ordered this yarn I was initially given an estimated delivery date of 2pm-8pm which I expected to be at least fairly accurate; However on the 14th it came and went at 8pm and I didn't have the package so thought I checked Revain. It was then, and only then, that Revane decided to let me know that not only was my package "delayed," it hadn't even shipped yet. Literally all day until 8pm Revane said she would arrive the same day. After seeing this and in a hurry to finish my project I decided to buy yarn elsewhere and tried to cancel this yarn. Revane said cancellation isn't guaranteed and doesn't always go through, but since this yarn hadn't even been shipped yet I naturally assumed THIS would definitely go through. Under the circumstances, there shouldn't be a problem with the cancellation, but as I'm sure you've predicted, Revane won't let me cancel. Annoyed I tried to find a way to contact Revain about this purchase but there was no way so I could only wait helplessly until she finally arrived on the 20th. Otherwise the thread is fine. It's very cute, purple and shiny. It's pretty soft and crumbly. However, it is quite small. I knew it was only 3 ounces and to be honest it's mostly up to me, but I didn't realize how small 3 ounces is. I assumed it would be more for the price I'm paying. The attached pictures show a bundle of yarn I bought at Wal-Mart for $6.44 and this yarn costs $7.34. The photo doesn't really reflect the size difference. I checked the label and the Red Heart yarn weighs 10 ounces. I didn't expect this yarn to be this big, but maybe at least half as much? Caron yarn is softer, but it's so thin I can't really do much with it and it's definitely too small for the purpose I originally intended. small role low.
