I bought one of these a few years ago but ordered this as a replacement as my teeth were so worn. I bought a replacement kit because I don't use it very often and the kit was cheaper than buying a new bit separately. I've just used a new kit to cut the frame grooves for a door and that's about all I had in mind anyway. The device is not much different from my old one, it is quite easy to use and works well. The bat already shows burn marks. I definitely got more use out of the old beat. I probably won't be needing it again anytime soon, but if I had plans for more than a door or two, I would plan on getting a better quality piece than the one that comes with the kit. Bottom line, it's fine for limited use, but not the best choice if you have multiple doors to hang.
