Review on License Smoked Novelty Silicone Protect by Troy Early

Update: The company shipped a new kit from China along with some extra key fobs and car chargers. While I greatly appreciate their determination to fix the initial problems, they sent many emails asking them to change my rating to a level that I was tolerant of. So after installing the replacements I will update it for their efforts and give them some time to install, but some of my original problems remain. They fixed the problem with scratched lids and poorly formed clasps. However, if you want to use all 3 items together (lid, silicone back and screw caps) this just won't work. The lid itself works well if you don't use a pad. The silicone backing works great with screw caps. Screw caps remain too large to be used with a clear cap. The seller is trying really hard to resolve these issues and their efforts are appreciated, but the problem remains that you are ordering a kit with the expectation that everything will work together, that's just not the case. This product was/is terrible and I would not buy it again. Here is a list of the issues and some photos: 1) 1 inch deep scratch on the lid before it was removed from the case. 2) The clear lid and silicone protector were obviously not designed to work together, the silicone was placed on a slab, the clear lid doesn't fit properly it should be a tight contoured fit but it isn't. 4) The screw covers were poorly made, visible flaws in the plastic (pictured) and do not snap properly 5) The screw covers are too large for a clear cover, resulting in those that snap when not installed not snap into place when installed. Bad design, again. 6) The screws are hardly stretched due to the poor fit of the covers, when they start to snag they put a lot of pressure on the transparent cover, most likely that's the only reason why it will break.
