Our cat peed in the same place in the canteen. No matter how many times I washed the wooden floor and baseboard, there was always a faint smell of urine, and she continued to go there at night instead of a tray. (During the day she always walks in her box. Strange little creature). Anyway, I received the PeeDar today (FOUR DAYS EARLY, THANKS!) and as soon as it got dark I lit it up in the dining room. and don't you know that she also sprayed on the wall above her usual place! No wonder she kept coming back to use it and no wonder it kept smelling! We take her to the vet just to make sure she's okay, but in the meantime I use an enzymatic cleaning spray and the urine splatters "melt" off the wall immediately.
