I installed this on the ceiling of my car above the headliner to keep the inside temperature down in Florida/Georgia summer. At first I was worried that the radiant heat from my car would cause the material to sag over time, but after installing the first panel I found my fears were unfounded. The leaves are easy to work with, but for heaven's sake make sure the leaf goes where you want it before you stick it on. You will destroy the material with any attempt to delete it. The material also held onto my fingertips fairly well during installation. I felt like my fingertips were very sticky. I never compared the before and after to the IR gun, but after installing it I decided to have lunch and parked with the windows open and the windshield away from the sun to concentrate all the heat on the roof . I came back in 90 minutes and was able to get in the car with the window open, no work (no air conditioning) and no sweat. I knew right away that this product was great for what I wanted and will be using it on my next project.
