Review on WD03X10007 Dishwasher Door Spring by General Electric by Teo Alston

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good replacement springs

These springs are quite expensive for the price. However, if one of your dishwasher's door springs breaks or pops (sounds like a heavy can hitting the floor), you're going to need it. Replace both at the same time. They're harder to install than I thought and I couldn't disconnect the hot water lines, garbage disposal, and electrical wiring. That way after turning off the power (at the circuit breaker) I was able to crawl into the space under the machine and attach both springs as needed. My only criticism of the springs is that they feel less strong than the originals, allowing the door to open quicker than before. However, stronger springs cannot be found, so this is the only replacement available. Good luck and try to see how the good one attaches before attempting to replace the broken one and then replacing the good one on the other side.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Running speed
